Photography

It was during my junior year of high school when I first stumbled upon my love for photography. I’d always been into art, but something about photography drew me in. Getting to be artistic in a new way was exciting and I couldn’t wait to learn more. I remember being given a basic DSLR camera for a class project, and from the first click, I was hooked. At first, it felt like I was just capturing random moments. As time went on, I started noticing the subtleties—the way light played on surfaces, the emotions in people’s faces, the details others might overlook. That’s when I realized I was drawn to documentary-style photography, the kind that tells a story without words. Along with documentary style photography I have grown to love landscapes as well. Getting to capture a moment in nature is something that has always piqued my interest.
